SOS Children’s Villages mission: the reason they exist
They build families for children in need and in doing so they help them shape their own futures. But they don’t leave their involvement there – they share in the development of their communities. They have cared for over 24 000 children over the years since they opened their first village in 1982.
A global charity with a local heart, they provide care via their family-based care villages, their family strengthening programmes and their community service centres.
